Hi, I’m Gavin.

I got into rental real estate after living with a landlord who treated it like a side business—not a full-time job. That idea stuck. I bought my first home with the intention of turning it into a rental, and I’ve been building and managing properties since 2017.

Hi, I’m Gavin.

I got into rental real estate after living with a landlord who treated it like a side business, not a full-time job. That idea stuck. I bought my first home with the intention of turning it into a rental, and I’ve been building and managing properties since 2017.

Today, I work full time in commercial construction management and I’m a dad, so time matters. I don’t have hours every day to deal with rentals and I’m guessing you don’t either.

Most real estate content is built for people trying to scale fast and turn it into their primary career. That’s not what I was looking for. I wanted a smarter, more efficient way to handle everything from finding deals to placing tenants to managing the day-to-day, without overcomplicating it or outsourcing everything.

When I couldn’t find that resource, I built this one.

The Rental Stack is designed as a practical toolkit for landlords who are actively building and managing their portfolio. That includes finding and evaluating deals, placing and managing tenants, handling maintenance, and staying on top of improvements, taxes, and accounting, without letting it take over your time.

You’ll find straightforward guides, tool comparisons, and systems that are actually usable in a busy schedule. Not just what works in theory, but what holds up in real life.

Everything here is filtered through one question: does this make the rental process more efficient, more profitable, or easier to manage long term?

If you’re looking for better ways to run your rentals, or build a system that can grow with you, you’ll find the tools, comparisons, and breakdowns here to help you do it.
